I think this video pretty much justifys why you should have good tyres when doing track.
first bend after the straight most were hitting 110-120 i struggled with the car at 90 due to the tyres...

Nice you were able to use the full oval at turn 1 rather than going through the chicane.

I did a trackday at rockinging in my saxo years ago using all of turn 4 but you was able to stay flat out pale. Id like to do a day at the rock using both T4 & T1 Very Happy

Cheap tyres are fun for sliding the car around and not having to worry about replacing expensive tyres.
