Went to silverstone yesterday for the Renaultsport trackday. Was wet in the morning and dryed up mid afternoon. Quite a few red flags and 3 damaged cars (one 6month old Clio 200 with the airbags deployed! )
We used the day for setup work and to take some guests out for a ride in the car. Everyone enjoyed it and we learned alot about the car in changeable conditions. Cant wait to race there now as its a great track.
Car was pretty reliable and trouble free. Tony had the throttle stick open at the end of the straight whilst doing 120+ caused by the return spring jamming. Easily sorted.
Brooklands is now my favorite corner, coz you can do this..................
Its amazing how little grip there is on the raceline in the wet. As the circut is used so much its well rubbered in. So much quicker going off line.
Was a good day ............

Hmm something is missing... not quite sure what...
What sort of camber is the front running Jay? Looks realllly negative in the second pic?
Whens the next race meet?

I did ask my team mate but he said unless we get something in return they aint going on.
Running -4.3 front and -2.7 to 3.1 rear camber (ish, hard to get right on the fixed beam)
Next race is 29th Aug at Mallory, then 4th Sept at Silverstone . . .
