interesting that they've knocked £3k off the price of a Type R GT

shame that they still come in at near 30k though no way would I pay that for a Civic

Don't think I'm that arsed tbh, I was never a fan of the latest one - the JDM model was much nicer, and was a much better drive too according to Evo

If the current model was like the older ones... it would be a different story.

Not too far off though really from previous models! With Dave's Type-R at Llandow it was pretty quick! Admitted it was aimed with a little more luxury than previous models of Type-R but unfortunately in todays market there will be more sales with a quick luxury car with comfortable seats than a quick car with no sound deadening and bucket seats!

The newer type-R's.. Well, the engine is the best part about them - K20A!

The newer models seemed to get more and more robust and heavier to incorporate all these compulsory saftey features like 105 airbags in a car..

The FN2 (spaceship) civic was just a disaster in my opinion, with Honda trying to make a Racing car for the 'Young' @ 30k (They must of forgotten about insurance in uk).
