How fast are the 318's? Never driven one but kinda tempted by an E36 coupe if I found one before an MX...

I wouldn't personally go for a 318, not enough power for a heavy car...and it's a 4 pot. If you look go for a straight six (323, 325, 328)!

You want a 323 with the 325 manifold.

That does look like a nice cheap track car mind, shame I dont have 850

Don't forget there are 3 different 1.8 engines... the twin cam chain driven is a little more IIRC, but need serious weight loss if it's ever to become a quick car.

Or just weld the diff.

Weld the diff, that drifting talk stu. Weekend it was drafting. Whats going on lol?

It's power sliding, not drifting...

And as for drafting, it's something you do on push bikes... we used it a lot on our London Brighton run... That's how exciting asscar is...
