| Right I own a BMW and I've had what seems like endless problems with it so might go part ex on either a s3 or s4 it'll be a couple of years older for my price range. Does anyone know what these cars are like or suggest a car.

Got a budget of between 5-7k hopefully part ex the BMW as part of the deal cough up a bit of cash on top. For that price there seem to be around the year 2000 mark

| So that would be the B5 S4, 2.7 bi-turbo V6 and the S3 will be a 1.8T with 210bhp IIRC.
For that money you could get a Leon Cupra R. I've recently got mine and love it.
It doesn't have the badge of the Audi's but it is better equipped.
Are you wanting a car with 4wd? | |

| Deffo some poke Chris the BMW is a lush car but just feels slow! Did have a look at cupra r's and a couple of 330i's too much choice  4wd is not a major factor anything will do! | |

| Are you worried my running costs? The S4 costs a lot to run and simple serivce parts can turn into a pain in the rear.
The S3 will be better but the 4wd does blunt it a bit.
But a mapped S4 2.7 biturbo would be an apsolute rocket! | |

An S3 wont cost the earth to run. It shares most parts with the mk4 Golf and Leon Cupra. | |
