Donington Park 21st July

Had a fairly last minute opportunity to head to Donington Park to give my car abit of a shakedown after the oil issue ruined the Mallory day for me. Due to the event that took place i was mostly being overtaken rather then the overtaker but had a laugh anyway. Still a few minor tweaks to be made but was really impressed with how my car now both pulls in a straight line and through the twisty stuff. Anyway some photos...

Also headed out a few times with the camera, sadly by my later runs the battery had died so only had footage whilst i was still getting used to the car and track. (Thats my excuse and i'm sticking to it )

Been a few times before, the national circuit is probably my favourate track too. There isn't a single part of the track i'm not keen on, though i have my favourate (Craner curves through to Mcleans). The whole circuit connects really well and the line through is so smooth.

Very nice. Donington looks really good. Will see if there's anything coming up in the next few months. What did you take away from the day?

And we've probably covered this somewhere but... what camera are you using and how is it mounted?

Car ran a dream, i know the weight difference shouldn't be noticed but i was expecting a slight increase in understeer with the extra weight up front (15/20kg is it?) so was ready to increase the pressure on the front if so but i didn't have to. Even oil and water temps didn't increase, i expected at least the water to as the vtr rad is smaller but was fine. To be fair if it weren't for the extra power my car feels no different then it ever has.

Samsung P1000 point and shoot on Superclamp mount

Quite good and very sturdy piece of kit, just abit overpriced compared to similar products.
