| Hi there. My name is Dan, and im from Swansea. Pretty new to trackdays but done a few. I own a Fiesta Zetec S. Done a few things to it. Nothing amazingly good. This is me, and this is my car So, its a 2001 zetec s with a 1.6 lump in, has a 4-2-1 miltek manifold and a miltek system. Also has a Viscous LSD, Earls braided brake lines, dot 5.1 fluid, it did have Red Dot 20 groove discs and Track spec pads until last week finished them off on wednesday at llandow. now i have 300mm front discs. Fully polybushed and strutbraced. AVO GTZ coilovers, rear axle is widened by 25mm. Then i have Ford Rally OMP RS buckets with TRS 4 point harnesses. standard compared to 300's anyway. thats me and my car. Thanks for taking the time to read. | |

| Yeah, id prefer to get it handling and braking ok first. unsure what route to take engine wise. there are a few options. all involving lots of money obviously. | |

| Thanks. I've also tinkered with another mk5 fiesta. thats a bit faster than mine tho. the current engine is up for sale tho to make way for the new engine. but thats on a similar spec suspension setup to mine. although it doesnt have the LSD. it does have a 153bhp 1.7 in tho at the moment, but like i said new engine is going in which is hopefully gonna be up on 210bhp. at the mo it weighs about 850kgs. the full spec on that is......... Ford Racing Puma engine, supposed to be 153bhp but made 144bhp on the rollers. Earls braided brake lines Hi spec 4 pots with 305mm discs AVO GTZ coilovers Fully Polybushed Ford Racing Puma Rear discs and calipers 250mm Fully strutbraced TD 1.2's in black OMP RS buckets with Sabelt 4 point harnesses OMP 6 point cage - waiting to be fitted OMP steering wheel Flocked lightened dash Lightened wiring loom Lexen polycarb windows The new engine going in is specced as follows, 1.7 puma engine Billet Cat Cams DTA ITBS DTA s60 pro ecu Some decent headwork Decent bottom end rebuild TBH thats all i can remeber at the moment, my head is fryed. | |
