a mate has 1 and he loves it says the ecconomy is great as its a 1.6 and pretty nippy as its got a turbo but myself i'd be worried that you couldnt develop that engine further as a 1.6 with 175bhp std

but reading 207oc (same engines) they are getting them up to 200-220bhp with little effort

I dont get it Peugeot know how to make a hot hatch so wtf ?

imho economy should be at the bottom of the list when something is wearing a GTI badge

wank. couldnt be less GTi if it tried. why would I buy that over a Clio 200, CTR, Corsa/Astra VXR???

economy is all well and good, but hardly high on the list when you're after a hot-hatch

3dr version would look so much better.

That won't be anywhere near hot. New Pugs weigh an unbelievable amount - and you can really feel it too, that'll have the same acceleration as a glacier

its a Golf for people that can't afford a VW, much like all of Peugeot's range these days.
