Combe - Aug Bank Hol Monday 2010

Went up to Combe yesterday for Race Day. Was a great day out and the weather was good to

We have now got the BUG and have decided to look into getting our race licences Both the Corolla and the Teg can enter the Castle Combe Saloon car series. It means we wont be able to change the engine in the Corolla but can mod it as much as poss, so we are thinking TBs and Cams to the current engine Dont think i'l be entering the RX7 in anything, it will prob break and cant be doing with a rebuild every race!!! LOL.

Good pics how much is the licence costing?

Well after having a good read up on the Castle Combe Saloon Car Regs tonite it turns out NEITHER of our cars are eligable apart from our laguna estate!!!! LOL. The Corolla is no longer a 5 speed, its now got a 6 speed box (we have basically changed it from a GS model to a G6R model) and the Teg is an import!

So.......we are now looking into the Nippon Challenge as both cars would be eligable for this as they are

I think the licence itself costs around £500. Thats for the National B Licence

Wish I had been able to come up to this. Is the aston in the pics the one that span and caused the crash on the exit of Quarry?

I meant the new one. seen a video of the crash and looks like the dbr has a tank slapper and then forces the ferrari into the old aston.
