I found using the hammer to fit this was a very affective method.

After doing that I felt my masculinity had increced ten times it's original size. And I think I felt it grown a couple of inches.

I know it's like the two easiest jobs you can do on a car but i'm proud.

Got a little dirty too...

TBF you know how hard it is to find tools in the garage. 90% of the time we where trying to find a 18mm spanner.

the spanners in the set went 16 17 19 20. We actualy thought there was no such thing as a 18mm spanner.

Owning a Peugeot means the inevitable with my socket set - the 10mm, 13mm, 17mm and 19mm are all missing. I use the 3/4" for wheel bolts now

Just to make you all feel inadequate, 27mm is the size of me wheel nuts.

Good going, it's a start, my first mechanical job was changing an alternator belt on my old 106 and that took me an afternoon! Feels good after though, keep doing little things like that and you soon get the confidence to tackle bigger things as you get a better idea of how things go together
