| Thanks steph I wish uk pc's would show jap symbols! So, east hill city. And preference for preference parking l guess.... I found East Hill Golf Club with an address of 5107-7 Yasuda, Agano City. Near Niigate Japan so it would seems east hill city could/does exist. http://www.enjoyniigata.com/english/09/east-hill-golf-club.htmlHow/where did you find that out? Next step, track down the jap owner lol | |

| http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_place_namesJust matched them up from there. I was going to look on Google Maps but the further I zoomed in the more places appeared so I gave up, ha. There's a website which shows a Japanese keyboard but none on the sticker are on there to type in and translate It's a confusing language! | |

| That could work! If not there's a few websites where you can send someone a bit of text (might get away with sending the link to the picture) and they'll translate it, don't know if they're legit and actually get back to you though. Same website as keyboard http://www.linguanaut.com/translation_jp.htm | |

| IIRC their letters are the same as ours (A, B, C etc etc) just with different symbols, but certain combinations of the letter symbols changes into a word symbol.
E.g. you'd type in 5 letters and it becomes a single symbol word.

| yeah, I think the ones on the sticker are all words :/ Determined to find it now! It's like the worlds best riddle!
You could also email the bloke who translated it on the page you found if needed. tony@!nospam!akina.ne.jp guessing you take the '!nospam!' bit out. Mission!

E.g. you'd type in 5 letters and it becomes a single symbol word. this is right, Japanese symbols don't mean poopoo in the English language basically and you can't get by just by matching the symbols it won't work, it's a combination scripted language, the symbols are derived from Chinese hence why some symbols are similar and are usually classed as the same language which infact they arn't
