Hi everyone, first things first, all the best for 2011 . i have just been past the link on for this forum from jamesgti6 on the 306 gti6/rallye owners club. My name is Chris and i am from County Durham. The car i own is a 1999 peugeot 306 gti6, the car is coming on well with a few bits and bobs left to do before i can get onto the track. i am looking to get to a good few track days this year, Knockhill, Croft, Silverstone, ect...

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone yes ash i had a look at your newbie thread and recognised the engine and car i have a mate who i am on helping build his 106 gti track car, i will send him a link.
most meets i get to is up scotland usualy, knockhill, ecosse and sound of silence this year. not realy many people round here have track cars, mostley all chaved up cars and sound systems

i forgot another thing off my list, my brembos... how could i forget them haha and my battery box it behind the passanger seat

Planning trackdays before you have an engine sorted?!?

all will be good soon chris next on my list is:

Toyo R888s
1 New alloy as one of mine is damaged,
New ball joints, track rods, inner rods, wheel bearings and drop links,
New engine
Roll carge (maybe)

putting alot of overtime in so i have plenty of money to spend on the car to get it all sorted for around march ready for the ecosse RR Spring open day with performance french car mag.

Got my harness bar painted and fitted today

Not sure yet? Drop links, ball joints, track rods ect... then new wheels and new engine

Not sure, think its custom, bought it off a lad on the gti6 forum.

the oz wheels might be going soon, i am after a set of 15s with r888s on as r888s for 16s are expensive will see what happens when time comes to sorting tyres out.
