| Right, been having a think and a quick and slightly dangerous scan of Pistonheads, and I've come up with an idea!
As most of you know, I'm desperate to get an S2000, however with the amount of money I keep spending on the Rallye and leading the playboy lifestyle here there and everywhere, that's on hold for the moment.
So the plan is, to get the Rallye up for sale at the start of June ready for the show season and get a 'shed' to pimp around in in the meantime for six months whilst I save up. Basically, I want something for between £1000 and £1500 that I won't be tempted to spend any money on. Me being me, a dull Mondeo or Astra isn't on the cards, I want something a bit leftfield of course!
And that's where I spotted something the other day that caught my eye... And a quick browse later confirms that an MGF fits the bill!
So, do I brave the K Series head gasket stereotype, or do you guys have a better unusual choice for me?

| Keep the rallye mate, if you really DO want the S2k then you have to put it in you're head that you just need to save some. Selling the rallye and then spend the money on a dull car, i think its dumb.. but its you're call..
Just my2 cents tho.. | |

| Think you'll find an MGF a bit naff to drive after the Rallye tbh mate... and the interiors are properly gash. MX5's could easily be had in your budget how about Cappucinos? What do they go for these days? Other thing you might want to be wary of, convertible prices in summer... ouch. | |

| Well, being naff's not a bad thing if it means I'm not going to spend money on it. I'd be too tempted to mod an MX-5! I thought the F interiors looked OK to be honest, the 106 is hardly the prettiest is it!
'cino would be pimp but I think they go for a bit more and they're bloody rare. I remember when Jez had one, it was cool as hell!

| 205 cab is epic! Very clean too. Soon have some Rallye stripes on that!
Del Sol's a good one I hadn't thought of. Spider is awesome but I'd have to change the wheels!

| TBH MG weren't far off building a good car when they made the F, ok true they are more homosensual than Chris in his MX with a bow in his hair, but as a balanced RWD car they are surprisingly good.
But a Del Sol would be a better choice.
