Aftenoon all!

Newbie here, just bought a Citrown Xsara VTS with only 50k and fsh, seems kind of a shame to strip her out but that is the plan!

First foray into the "throw it all away" way of motoring, concerned that the handling may become a bit front heavy and it will be unbearable on the odd occasion I drive it to work.

Good site guys, keep it up.

Welcome over, my tip is, if it's a daily drive, it's not worth stripping.

I've had cars in various states of interior removal, even had a 106 with just a speedo head and bucket... worst thing ever!

Just keep the interior IMO!

Planning on any performance mods?

Cheers all

Nelly - it was indeed! good plug there, should be on commission...

I bought the car really as an impulse, had a 1998 a few years ago and was shocked by the prices and what you can get for your money. Also have a Honda Jazz and a Chevy camaro, so have the full-interiored thing should I need it.

Gonna sleep on it for a bit and decide on the strippage. Mods so far stretch to a k&n induction kit, but want lightweight wheels and better tyres, perhaps a bit of lowering and of course the potential lightening...

Good forum guys.

Welcome Very Happy

Keep the interior in if it's a daily, you'll barely notice the difference anyway apart from an increased level of noise.

Where you from?
