me and my mates a few years back chucked in £100 in and got a e30 2.0 was great fun, still felt underpowered on the ring although the 6 banger did sound awesome

drove to the ring did 8 laps and drove back then were gunna sell it for double what we paid but instead my mate fell in love and bought it off us lol

id worry about power of a 1.8 and stick to a 2.0 tbh mate, 2.5 would be a good future project

it was so low, we got springs and shocks off ebay for the trip.

it died as is bottomed out and ripped the sump off
