| As I woke up today and the sun was out, I decided to abandon my plan of sorting out the 106 as the weather was too good for that. Instead I cracked out the buckets and a basket full of Autoglym and did this: S2000 getting some loving! by Rallye James, on Flickr I retrieved the tonneau cover from the garage, worked out how to fit it and set off for a drive. Got some lunch at McDonalds, then set off here to eat it, overlooking South Wales In fact, if I had some binoculars I could probably see Llandow from there! | LOL. I'm putting mine on retention this week, and paying the assignment fee. I'd want £300 then all you'd need to pay on top is £25 to change the name on the certificate | |

| When you getting one then, Tom? Minor update for this week, came home on Thursday with it sounding like a bag of nails, quickly diagnosed by Ryan as the cam chain tensioner and backed up by checking on S2KI to find that it's a common fault. Replacement ones can last anything between 10k and 80k so it seems like a bit of a lottery! Having been advised not to drive it, I got myself insured on Ryan's GTi6 for the week and stumped up the £258 for a replacement part from from Honda, not what I needed five weeks before a 'Ring trip but at least it didn't go over there! Part was fitted tonight with a little help from Ryan and Adam and now it sounds nice and healthy again! In other minor news, sorted my insurance out on Saturday, renewal was a shocking £980. I practically laughed at the guy and told him to try again and asked why it was so high. He put me on hold for five minutes and came back with £475. Result! Settled in the end with £515 as £128 a month for four months after the expensive bill. Adrian Flux coming up trumps five years running now! | |
