Finally, MOT passed! Went for a little drive and got some pics to celebrate, handling is just awesome even on the budget tyres! Needs brakes and stuff sorting now I think. Absolutely love it, best bit is, it even feels like it's pulling even harder now - just amazing!

Not too much has been going on here recently... been enjoying it too much! Very Happy

Did find the time to gut the backbox out though, was clearly a Powerflow 'quiet' option, sounding only slightly louder than stock. So, the angle grinder came out, the stuffing came out, and the box was welded back together again... having a MIG around is proving handy!

Sounds pretty nice now, it's quite 'Honda-esque', just need to sort a decat out - even a 6-sided 14mm wouldn't undo the cat Sad

Went on a bit of a drive out tonight, got a few crappy phone pics but I'll stick them up anyway...

Rota Slipstreams, 15x7, Et is something like -30... looking into 30mm bolt-on hubcentrics, getting the arches sorted properly (de-rusted, rolled, sprayed up) for better fitment. Came with basically brand-new T1R's on them too, and only half an hour down the road!

Productive weekend. Swapped the insanely stiff springs to the springs from Rich's old coils (cheers mate), mounted the sump guard much more securely, sorted the ride height out, made a splitter, re-made the number plate bracket and gave it a well overdue clean!

Haven't been up to too much with this, only a couple of little things...

Fitted a nice OMP, has made it a million times better to drive, and looks much nicer!

I lied, next progress is exhaust related - got bored of the turn down tip (was just a little too subtle) and the noise wasn't quite enough for me. So, picked up some gas welding bits to convert the MIG (so much nicer to use!), finally managed to get the cat off after shearing the two remaining studs that held it on, gutted the inners of the cat out and made a new tip from some land rover exhaust.
