| Hi all, Signed up here yesterday, after Norlege kindly posted up an interest thread for the Llandow track day over on 306oc.co.uk I have a '99 Peugeot 306 GTi6 with various shiny bits and bobs on it, and a 106 n/a Diesel (56 rampant stallions at the fly when new... now...who knows?!) I've not been out on a trackday before, but definitely want to get stuck into doing a few a year, hence I thought I'd start with Llandow My biggest question is, after a full day on Llandow, how shot are my discs, pads & tyres likely to be? Forewarned is forearmed as they say, and I'm not sure the missus would be particularly happy if I have to explain to her that a significant chunk of the 'holiday fund' went on a set of new dancing shoes for the '6!!! Very much in this vein, does anyone know where to get mintex 1144/1155s or ferodo ds2500s from at a half-decent price??!! Ta | |

| Welcome over Ed First up - Llandow will be the perfect introduction to track, you'll be surrounded be people who understand what your first day is like, and plenty of us to passenger/tutor you! Llandow is notoriously hard on tyres in particular, because of the coarse tarmac I'd budget for a pair of fronts at least (Though it depends how much you play with the lift off!!). TBH I wouldn't expect excessive wear on pads/discs though. Try CRN - http://www.crn-uk.com/ call them and mention B4T. Brakes4u offered us discount, but i can't find the code right now!! | |

| Hi Mate, Thanks for the speedy response I'll take a look at those sites when I get a chance Brilliant, I think I'll grab a passenger ride 1st time out (probably in Ruan's dirty diesel!) so I can roughly judge entry speeds etc. Really looking forward to this now | |

| Thanks Dave. They look to be about £7 more than Demonthieves though? I *think* someone mentioned a decent discount on tweeks' prices as well through a member on the '6 forum. I'm sure the'd be able to sort you out when you next need em too FYI | |
