| the usual from knockhill here, run what ye brung on track days, scrutineering rules apply as per most tracks to make sure no pikey cars get on! £45 for the day i believe which is quite a cheap track day! lots of frenchy cars, the usual array of fords and jap machinery and even some rusty old vauxhalls make an appearance! anyone else going from up here? think ill be in attendance but not going out as the car hasnt even got 1% build progress yet! | |

| yeah not many scottish members really, ill be attending most of them as im marshalling at most events this year with knockhill as part of my marshall training but if anyone fancies a track day here then its one of the best tracks to do, not as big or technical as some or pretty much all tracks but one of the fastest around and the camber on the corners really tests your cars setup | |

| the food is far from cheap at knockhill but filling to the max! was going to recommend doing a different track day on axoc and having us all come up to knockhill but most would prob not do it whereas some on here would prob be up for it maybe....
track days are very often, the lads all help each other out as proven with my engine change rather sharpish on the cavalier last year having a guy with a northern saloon championship cosworth lending me his tools and engine stand and also his mechanic son to help! really recommend this as one of the best enjoyment track days these days! only one i think is probably better is either combo or mallory | |

| I'm sure with most of B4T's bodgeneering skills, and a bit of northern bruteishness we could conquer most things | |

| wel just back from the garage after stocking up on some nice sticky slicks at..................£10 a tyre! didnt take any pictures but got some vids on the mobile phone so ill upload them just now and fire the links over to u asap. highlights of the day were the trio of AX 16valvers running rings round all the other hot hatches (2 N/A and 1 turbo iirc) a rather old and dodgy opel kadett with roof rack bars!? doing more of an impression of an EDC car than a track car! some rather tasty cars out there took a battering (XR2 vs Almera GTi at duffus.....score one point almera and one rear quarter crushed XR2) not too many retirements today, couple of LET Nova's, 106GTi on comps, Escort Cossie WRC shell with serious misfiring problems and a couple of MI16 205 GTi's. over 500 cars in attendance and a minimum of 100-120 competing out on track. weather stayed dry all day and although cold was a damn good trackday....now i really need to get my arse in gear and get the ax sorted for the track! | |

| yeah its a redtop nova saloon mate, was very quick.. the orange van isnt an escort  morris traveller van with a rover v8 engine in it was doing well though for it being such a heavy beast. 45 for 1 driver on track 25 additional passenger 5 per person to spectate. cant grumble with that really! www.knockhill.com - check it out on the track day section and see all the info u need mate. | |

| just in, been put up to 50 for a track day as of now, due to increased damage on the tarmac from engine damage and crashes from inexperianced drivers, the tracks put it up to £50, extra passenger/driver is still £25. this is not to increase costs for the sake of it but to get a slight increase in revenue to maintain the track conditions and also to cover increased marshalls on there and costs for the day. still a damn good bargain at that! | |
