| Found this over on a BMW forum. It was on a closed-track trackday instead of the usual touristenfahrten. The impact happened at the fastest part of the circuit at the end of the longest straight between antoniusbuche and tiergarten. I'm guessing the M3 was doing in the region of 160mph. From what I've read he was an experienced ringer and unfortunately hit the back of the slower moving mini (that can be seen in the background of the pics) after coming over the blind crest. The driver of the M3 got away with only a broken arm! Let this be a warning to anyone venturing there! if he didnt have that cage im sure he would be dead ! | |

| I just hope he had adequate cover, at £500 per armco plus track closure i bet his wallet took a hit. | |

| I feel sorry for the Mini owner, i know most if not everyone knows the risk of track days but it still must be a shi!tter when your taking it easy say doing a sighting lap then you get a nice 3series shaped dent in your spine. | |

| Yeah usually if you get some one who is alot quicker on your ass you move over. Obviously the mini had no chance in hell.
When i went they only incident i saw, was a 09 ducati bike wedged in the barrier and the rider was sat on the barrier on his phone.
Risk you take around the ring really. Looking forward to going back in October | |
