All mine are related to my old saxo lol
1st one. What to do if your new backbox is blowing from the joint?
Answer, use duck tape
Sure l dont need to say this but yes it did melt lol.
Next up was the result of me using a cable tie to hold the 1.3 rallye loom in place against the battery tray. Result, melted engine loom on the M6 in roadworks with no hard shoulder lol.
Fixing a split cv boot. Best bodge l ever did. Lasted a trackday at rockingham plus 7 months until the car was taken off the road.
Now a funny one. The result of hitting a chicken at 105mph
So time for warrens fudge ups lol.
Anyone spot the problem here? Big clue the drive slops towards the house.
Now a classic
An attempt at a santa pod style start, only woz forgot something slighty important
1st gear lol

Wtf at the wiring loom, close to having a fire?!
Uhm I can only think of one fook up. I was 17 and was in a rush to fit my new TAS Quickshift, which meant hacksawing through the white plastic ball in order to pull the gear stick up out of the housing. I ended up hacksawing into my gearstick a fair way before realising and had to get my Dad to drive me to a scrapyard so I could quickly get a replacement..

think everyone knows that clio sport exhaust mounts are shocking. so....
there is also the legendary engine lifting method we came up with at Stu's after faffing about with MGM for so long. If I recall correctly we'd tried just about everything to get it in before
me: does the del sol have a towing hook? stu: err, yeah. me: got a bit of rope? stu: errr, yeah.
5 minutes later we'd achieved the improbable

Another story l just thought of. Woz will remember this lol.
Last year me my sis and dad went to cosford air show in my dads car. Sister was sitting on the roof and when l climbed on l put a dent in the roof skin lol. Knowing my dad would be pissed off l needed a way to get this dent out. My solution when we got back home was a sink plunger. Of course l couldnt find the one in our house so l phoned up woz and borrow his. It didnt work so knowing the one we had was bigger l came clean to my mom about why l needed the plunger and she told me where it was. The bigger one still didnt work and the dent is still in the roof unnoticed to this day
