that's just a picture of the spaxo's pretty side, the other side contains many horrors such as a non colour coded arch and a missmatched boot

| 50% cheaper for me on a rallye, 40% cheaper on the gti compared the vts. guess it's age related | |

| I was reading somewhere insurance companies don't even use the groups anymore.. =\
but yeah, thats the difference in prices, so I'd be mad to keep the vts

I see what you mean there, they just wont insure me on a lot of cars, which I'm guessing they will use the insurance group for. BUT how can one group different be such a difference in price. even for my dad, his 5 series bmw was group 15 or something, and my vts was 2x the price for him.

| It's all in the statistics I guess, the group is probably just a weighted modifier in the whole equation - seems that particular insurance company puts more emphasis on the statistical likeliness of that specific car being in an accident than the BMW. | |

MR2 Turbo - £1800 VX220 Turbo - £2500 Honda S2000 - £4000 BMW M3 - £3800 Z4M - £4200
Those are all group 20
last couple that arn't group 20
My car - £460 VX220 2.2 - £1700 (group 17 iirc)

| Insurance prices annoy the hell out of me, i have two policies: The saxo limited to 5k/year and garage stored and has 8 years ncb on costs me £400 with modifications declared, my daily drive which i do a good 30k/year and stored on drive with 4 years ncb costs half that | |

statistically though, more people crash saxo's. therefore you're more likely to be one of those people that crashes. insurance is a joke anyway, it's totally useless for me, I'd soon rather pay out for any damage myself than go through insurance.. wish I could get quotes as low as yours :p

| In Austalia insurance is an option, though you are liable for damges but unlike this country everyone who doesn't have insurance honours their duty to pay up. | |
