Hey, I'm Sam and live in Cardiff. Currently driving a JDM 2.2 vtec Prelude and getting it ready for track days. Made good progress and hoping to get on the next track day at LLandow in April (met a few of the lads on here today at the track).

Currently:

Lowered on Koni shocks and springs
HEL braided brake lines
Black Diamond Predator discs and pads
4-2-1 manifold
Decat
Full Mongoose exhaust system
Sleepy chip (removes the 112mph limiter and puts vtec to 5k)
Cobra Monaco S bucket seats (just need a good clean and respray with upholstery spray as faded red)
4-point harnesses
Exedy clutch
9lb Fidanza flywheel
330mm steering wheel (Sparco buttons for cruise control)
17" League alloys for the road and just picked up some 17" Oz Polaris wheels for the track
Front strut brace and looking into sorting a rear one once I decide whether to keep the 4WS after my eye opener on the track today with Ash in his and Graemes silver Lude
Took the induction kit off in the last pic and put standard airbox back in with HAMP filter as was getting too much heat soak!

Cheers all much appreciated!

Well after going out in the silver lude as a passenger on Sat, and much thought, I'm going to dump the 4WS. Absolutely awesome for town driving and slightly spirited road driving but concerned it's not going to cope with tracks all that well...so 2WS subframe is next.

Got to replace a couple of ball joints too, but due to the bigger decision above won't have the car ready for beginning of April so going to have to wait a little longer for my first track day!

Liking the looks of the Spring action day and will check with the boss but hopefully come along and meet a few people.

My track time is going to be limited each year unfortunately as my wife is pregnant and due in Sep so can't go washing too many of my pounds down the tarmac...but will still make a few!! Wink

I don't really know much about the 306 but on my 106 with the 206 gti 266mm setup(little bigger than std) I use Ferrodo DS2500 pads, Brembo Max discs(from GSF carparts) and Motul Dot 5.1 Long life brake fluid(from Opie oils)

I've got gti-6 calipers with red stuff pads & 5.1 fluid. plenty good enough, although I don't think EBC do gti-6 anymore? Apparently you can get carbon lorraine stuff at reasonable prices through kam racing these days
