Im Rich drive a saxo vts that I am going to be building up to use on track, currently fairly standard.

Kris posted about Llandow on 106oc so came over. Had also heard about the forum from previous track days.

Was good to meet you guys today.
Im just gutted my car didnt survive

I'll get pictures of the damage tomorrow when it gets back here.
Buggered my bad knee again too.

Hoping its fixable and next time I'll go even bloody slower! not that I was going very fast in the first place

gutted to see this mate, we saw the car in the hut they put them in when the owners are elsewhere...how did it happen if you don't mind me asking? and I hope it hasn't put you off for the next time?

Came round the final bend, taking it steady and back wheels clipped the curb. Kicked it out and I wasnt able to hold the slide.

My mates all said afterwards they were wondering how it happened as I wasnt going quick into the corner. I have seen loads of people lose it there so I knew to be careful.

Car is coming home today so when my knee allows it will be stripped to see how bad damage is. Looking like a reshell project at the minute.

On crutches for now though

Ahhh got told it was the first bend! Was confused

Seen a few accidents on Tower over the years, There was a Cossie, and a Z3 who both rolled!

Gutted about the car but stay positive, get you're knee better and then sort the car! Important thing is you were safe enough!

Yeah when he chopped that 106 up

The car has no bumper, bonnet, wings and the radiator, lights etc are removed.

Pictures tomorrow most likely as its now under a cover.

Nah bit far away from me, Live in Cirencester.

I will see if I have it fixed by llandow and if I can afford the trip

I remember see'ing Simon Norris stack the Evo, couldn't believe how high he managed to hit the safety railing.

Thats off my account

Funnily enough he crashed the new car, at Combe the very next year

Simon Norris only ever uses the Green Evo 9 for TOTB @ Elvington and showing off at car shows. I think due to the amount of surgery that car body has seen it doesn't comply with most Saloon car series regulations.
