| Found a spare garage that I can use to keep the VTS in meaning that it can become a proper toy and not just a daily driver. thinking about a new daily drive. Still want something that is pokey and sporty but also more refined and newer. Anyone got any suggestions? Ideally less then 10.5k Always wanted one of these and this has come up local. Should hold its money well too due to been 1 of 100. Only thing is I dont really need a derv as I currently work 12 miles away and have just applied for a new job that could bring me even closer to home. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201017358036209/sort/priceasc/usedcars/fuel-Others things considering E46 BMW 330ci / 325ci cab teggy DC5 (but do I really need a car like this if I have a track toy) Where is good to look for limitied mile insurnace policies? As I need to look at the costs of running two cars first as this may well put me off haha | |

| V8 Discovery Astra R888's are nice... But imo a daily needs to be as compy as you can afford... so i'd say E46 or even one of the top of the Saab 9-3 range... or am i talking too err... 'old' here? | |

| some sort of sporty diesel effort would be ideal. Or just screw common sense and get the dc5.
when i was looking sensibly last i was very keen on a diesel alfa gt or 156. Stunning cars. | |

| exactly what I thought of the R26. nice car, but you wouldn't want to own one. something just doesn't feel right about it.
Focus ST maybe? | |

| every person I've known to buy an alfa has hated them due to the reliability and. my boss used to have a 156 brought it for 8.5k spent 1.5k in 5 months then sold it for 7k | |

| E46's are comfortable and generally quite good cars but veeerryy boring! We've got an e46 328 (not much different to the 330) and it lacks any real excitement on the road. I know you don't want excitement on the road as you have a track car but a car that makes you smile and want to drive it is still nice! | |

| I like having our BMW don't get me wrong but I find excuses to drive the Prelude and I'd rather let the missus drive if we're going in the BMW...that's the only way I can describe it | |
