| yep. current clio is doing 85 miles a day though and is on 118k so thinking it's best to get something newer sooner now i have the dedicated track car available again. | |

| Does this come with the Recaro seats? It certainly wouldn't be a boring daily driver. | |

| no recaros, but all the usual extras like keyless entry and start. hopefully he'll do a good deal on it, as I understand it was all but sold until friday. it'd be a nice change to have something slightly quieter on the motorway at least | |

| It would be a nice daily driver, the 0-60 time comes in at under 7 seconds too I think so it'll still be fun Let us know how you get on with it. | |

| just too expensive to run for me at the moment, reading up the best mpg you can hope for is somewhere round 27ish I can get a "cheap" one for 12k, but it'll inevitably need more looking after than a newer car. With the new house at xmas too its too big a commitment. Maybe in a years time when 370z's are a bit more common | |

| its an optional extra, they are only trims though in terms of what its like to drive....... typical modern car in that the steering is very light, but unlike some other newer cars I've driven (e.g. the twingo, various vauxhalls & golfs) it's incredibly precise & you get quite a bit of feedback, so it's not point and hope. power wise the delivery is far smoother. lower down the rev range you don't get the same sort of insistence you get in the 106 or 172 (it doesnt NEED to go faster to be nice to drive) that said, when you put your foot down it turns into an utter animal, far quicker through the gears than the 172, it has mad amounts of grip through corners....and the noise it makes when you're above 4k is awesome the brakes are awesome. nuff said really. it still gets attention, although not the same sort the 172 got. it's a bit more grown up, and it has much more by way of creature comforts - you can sit on the motorway at 70 with cruise on and not worry. the way it makes progress up past 3 figure speeds is daft, you blink and you miss it. I think i made the right choice with this one, it'll certainly keep me entertained for the next year while 350z's do some more depreciating | |
