Corsa Turbo 432bhp

I organised a RR day as part of a few forums I am on, Nic brought his corsa turbo up and blew everyone away, one of the most powerfull Corsas in the UK. Previously RR'd at 515bhp at the fly yesterday in did 432 at the wheels. Incredible machine.

Thought I would share a few pics and vids. The operator didn't give him a printout of the 432 run however.

is this the guy who used to call himself muppetsport?

He used to go by the name muppetsport on forums yes, goes by that name on youtube aswell, plenty of videos on it on there.

he's only just finished building it and its projected 550+BHP.

Was previously in a nova with a little less BHP.

Yawn... give me a 110bhp City and some corners

This is only running 0.5 bar of boost, it could quite easily achieve 600+ with the boost turned up

Thats all very well, but I don't want to be the one trying to put all that power down through the front wheels.

It does it very well, pretty sure he's had high 11 sec quater mile times at crail which isnt the best surface, down at Santa Pod would be a lot quicker. I think his quickest 60ft time is around 2 seconds

all the power looks to be mapped for around 6 - 7.5k anyway. what management is he using?

exactly it peaks high up the rev range, should help quite alot

just thinking if he's got some sort of launch control on there as well, it'd probably help a bit

pffft launch control, thats for carpet warehouse owners to show of t'the maates in the gurlf club. now imagine clarkson saying it in a yorkshire accent and you'll see where i'm going

So undriveable that he drove the 130 mile round trip to the RR day the car is used on 1/4 currently but he is plannign to take it out on track, he could turn the boost down and still have a reliable 350bhp to hoon it round a track with.

does he not get bored just doing 1/4's all the time? it would drive me nuts i only have a play doing it now and again to stretch my cars legs tbh!

I think you have completly the wrong end of the stick. As in 423Hp is just not going to be fun at all driving that on the Public Road, as in UNDRIVABLE. Not the fact that he cant drive it on the road!

350HP in a corsa on the track is still going to be far too much! even with a Diff etc. I hope too see it on track some day im sure hell fly past most up the straights mind!
