Hi people!!

My mate made me aware of this forum after posting a link to photos of the recent track day at Brands hatch, gotta say it looked great fun, so here i am hoping i'll soon have a car fit enough for the track.
Currently have a 106 Quiksilver with GTi engine conversion but thats soon to be scrapped for the Citroen C2 VTS engine sat up pug performance having headwork, piper cams, new pistons and rings etc just a total rebuild (being built with ITB's in mind for the future) Cars lowered 45/50mm all round, Gti brake set-up, Group N exhaust system, 4-2-1 mani and current plans to make it better on track are coilovers which im sure the missus will have the pleasure of giving to me on xmas, and also wanting a set of 205 1.9 alloys ready to wrap in fresh toyo R888's or Avons,

we've got Thruxton, but I have never seen an open pit day offered there!

Yeah thats what i mean, its probs 45 mins from me max, yet never can go in there/seen it open for track use :/ whereabouts you from in Hampshire then mate??

I have a set of 1.9 speedlines I want rid of. They do need a refurb mind, I changed my mind on what wheels my saxo was having. Let me know and I'll get you some pictures.

How might i know you lol 106owners at all?? As for the 1.9 speedlines whatever ones i get will be refurbed and re-sprayed, want an unusual colour as they will be track wheels, and the gloss black raptors are just daily driver wheels. how much you looking for for the wheels mate???

And as for coilovers nothing of the likes of gaz as its going to be xmas present i have heard really good things about TA Technix reasonably priced and seen a few GTi's running them on track. Yea take pride in my cam covers shame they'll be gone once the JP4 engine goes in but I've taken some attention to detail on those covers to

when driven properly, they can keep up with the more expensive stuff. My biggest tip will be never assume it's always the car that's at fault.

By impress myself I meant to see If im a good driver or not, not to blame the car If i Man Meat up, which is inevetible seeing as i never been on track lol
