| Just wondering what people have used in the past? I had Black Diamond Predator pads at Llandow and they were really impressive and only started getting pad fade in the last half hour of the day. Been looking into alternatives for next year as my pads will need replacing and come up with DS2500 and Hawk HP+. Don't really want to go above £100 for the pads though! Anyone used either of these pads? Comments? Both seem to have good reviews but a few people have said the DS2500 have suffered a little on larger cars?
Also to those that have done a few days how would you rate Llandow for harshness on brakes compared to other tracks you have done? Trying to get a good balance of pad for street and track use that will stand up to the full trackday?!

Can't go far wrong with DS2500's mind!

| DS2500 on a 106 all day long tbh, never faded them out and managed to burn the paint on the wheels with them they worked that well...on a heavier car though you may need the DS3000's to cope that little bit more. | |

| Did think about the ds3000's but apparently they're not road legal or something due to needing high temps to even work?
How did llandow compare to other tracks on the brake front?

| Yeah, DS2500 bedding in instructions are something along the lines of "Do 1 lap at 50% race braking. Return to the pits and inspect the pads". When I bedded mine in, I found some B roads and did a few stops from 60mph to a near stop. Repeated until I could smell the pads I personally wouldn't want to run the DS3000's on a road car because I don't think they'd stop very well with no/little heat in them. Even with the 2500's you can certainly tell when they're cold. | |

| he is using a heavier car though Dave so in theory should heat the pad up more to friction temps just depends how heavier they are really...I was thinking of using the 3000s on the 106 but as you say the cold temps are noticable for the first few stops. | |
