| Fitted the HID's today. All i can say is what a difference! They are actually a completely WHITE light... Looks like they could be standard as far as others would know without any real blue! They were a tight fit... Was not fun fitting these to a GTO with pop ups... There is actually no space! | |

| Yeah. There is a very slight blue tint i suppose, but it wasnt really dark enough to tell propley... It was actually light when that picture was taken... Amazing what effects having a flash off makes for some reason... | |

Haha Yes i did. 3 plugs per "HID" bulb, with an earth per light. Leaves you with the one plug per ballast and a positve which goes to the battery terminal. Oh, and the one the plugs into the plug that would normally go into the bulb. Er no.. Its abit far to walk... What plugs do you have left?

| Woz, I think the black plastic connectors with yellow coloured bits plug into the ballast. The two ring connectors I presume are the connections to earth. The ring terminal with the inline fuse connects directly to the + on the battery. And then the connector with three pins plugs into the original connector that used to push onto the bulb. Does that help? | |

Spot on! I must add.. if you look at the ballast unit where the plug goes in, there is a symbol on each side.. one being a "+", and the other a "-". Make sure the black wire lines up with the "-", and obs the red with the "+".

| Yeah, it just gets the signal from the 3-pin connector and the power from the battery. The nellers clan explained it spot on, if you can't fit them now then well... you're just a mincer tbh | |

| ^^ haha. The 3 pin connector plugs into where your standard bulb would have gone. This does mean one side of the car will have a spare plug on the CARS STANDARD LOOM. Understand now? | |

| Anyone else fitted these yet?
Got mine in the lights this morning, only had 30 minutes so was a little pushed for time, got one side working, putting the other down to a bad earth, but just curious if people had used the mounts the ballast's came with? Think they may earth through their casings...

| Mine aren't mounted in their casings, and they look basically the same as mine. More likely to be a bad earth or a loose connection somewhere, the connections need really pushing together! | |

| Working side is lush!
Just read the manual, the don't earth through the ballast so it must be a bad earth.
5k still seems a little blue, but some white side light bulbs should even it out.

| One thing also worth mentioning is the fact the ring terminals (one the +va and the two earths) are far to small, i've recrimped larger ones on. | |

| I think the kits expect you to screw in your own earth but I suspect your adding them to existing bolts for farthing, but good plan! Mine don't have any earth leads, only + and - leads to and from ballast. If it still doesn't work stu try swapping the ballast to rule that out! | |

| Right, all sorted now, It was a dodgey connection where the new loom joins the origional headlight plug.
Anyone having issues with the plug not making good contact, get some silicone lube and give each plug a squirt.
The light is good, had to switch to whiter sidelight bulbs. The warm up of the bulbs is a little lagged, about 5 seconds.
The switch to high beam is nice and quick.
Impressed tbh!
Now roll on night time! | |

| Looks good stu! From what I read all aftermarket kits have a bit of warm up, and read that some kits can be 20-30 seconds so 5 seconds is ideal!
