Spring PCAD Follow Up thread!

Hi chaps me and BIG sam got home ok thanks for the warm welcome it was nice to put some faces to names, roll on llandow now

Just a thread to say a HUGE thankyou to everyone who made it today, wouldn't have been the same without any of you!

Stand doubled in size from last year, lets hope next will be 20 cars!

Special thanks to Dave for sorting out the plates - simply awesome, and the Welshies for their ultimate whoring!

Good to meet Sam, Jamsey, Kris and Chris (properly), and to catch up with the rest of you!

In the process of uploading all 138 photos me and Woz have taken!

On another note, hope Reechard is ok, gutted about the Saxo, but at the end of the day cars can be replaced, lives can't... just hope the experience hasn't put you off track days!!

Next up? Summer action day!

Spoke to Rich earlier, said he's alright, just limping a bit pretty much, having to use crutches. He's getting the car back tomorrow, but fair play to the lad, he's already watching new stuff to reshell into on ebay lol!

Alternator failed for the 3rd time! going to get a bunch of them from Buckies was a waste of money having them refurb'd.

TBH it looked like you (or you co-driver) wern't pushing it to begin, but as confidence grew it got quicker!

On the session saw, there was a silver 182 (i think) that started at the back of the pack you were in, you were near to lapping coming up towards the end.

What alternator are you running? Who 'refurbd' them...

Only got 11 pics, couln't really be arsed with taking them, and the track ones are a bit of a fail! But they're here anyway...

Were running Volvo 440 alternator, used one for 2 years on my old silver one with no probs, these seem to last 20 mins.

Seems the norm for a combe day is bragging about how recklessly you can drive in a 15 minute session!

Kind of proved what kind of crowd the day attracts when the track opened at 9:00 and a car was in the wall by 9:02. Never seen that on a real trackday

Typical Coombe though, full of people who think they car drive! and end up causing more accidents! As for the 9.02 incident, waiting for Rich's opinion on that one!

big thanks to the new people for making it down today and was a pleasure to meet you all...if llandow is this good it will be a great day out!

i'll have a look at some of the pics tomorrow evening to see what I can do with them, and i'll see what my videos came out like(i'm not holding much hope for these tbh)

Umm... well first session I was so rushed that I forgot to hit record. Alex used it for his second session and it didn't work. And once again, for my my second session I was so rushed that I didn't have to time tape it on! With less than half an hour until I was meant to be on, I had to get petrol. Epic organisational fail.

gutted, will be editing mine this afternoon need to fix my key in a sec. so it should be up this afternoon/evening.

The entire day was excellent. On our walk around, there were B4T cards everywhere. Good job!

Was a good day and enjoyed the company to! Some good pics there and hopefully we may get a few new people sign up with all the car park whoring!

Looking forward to Llandow now so I can stop the torture of watching other people on track!!
