Seeing as Rich gave it away on facebook... May i introduce you all to MSMK2...
And yes, most of you have guessed it... But i'd like to say now Woz copied me, not vice versa.
1991 Rev 1 2.0 N/A MR2... These Ebay images are all i have...
Bought with a hooge hole in the rad, which led to an epically failed headgasket!
28 hours, yes thats 28 HOURS later it finally fired up, although it had some (rather substantial) running issues to begin with, she's now running sweet as!
Going to keep a running total of costs...
Bought it for £425 Heeadgasket/Cambelt etc Parts cost £180 Radiator £180 New Battery £45 Spare Wheels FREE 2 x Rear Toyo's FREE Rev 3 Downpipe FREE MOT £40
So running total is currently £870
BUT when it's MOT'd the plate will be sold for £400... so it's only £470 in my mind
Anyway, it's done 120k, has a little service history, it's failed it's MOT on a hole, which i'll teach you all a little get around tomorrow!

Sooo, i've driven it enough now to say the stigma surrounding them is totally undeserved...
It's soooo well balanced, and although i've not pushed it (or myself) to the limits yet, i honestly feel that if it does have a snap point it should be easy enough to hold!

I want to see it on the rollers as I think it's got a 130 bhp engine not the original one

Yep extremely well balance people who listen to the horror stories are missing out!
Those who say these cars have snap oversteer have either never driven one or should learn and understand how to drive a mid-engined car first.
Having said that you better have your head screwed on when its wet especially in a turbo when you have 280bhp+ going to the rear tyres.
Or cheap nasty tyres, my old 170bhp N/A was worse than the tubby when on poopoo tyres. (Now my dry weather track tyres lol)

If it does you need an lsd and a turbo lol
Although l have to be honest l never found understeer to be a problem with my n/a and yours being a rev1 should have less understeer than a rev 3 lol. Not to mention your rear tyres are only 205 when they should be 225.
Personally ld get it lowered and the tyres around 32psi front and 36psi rear and take it from there mate.

Ahem it's not drifting. Drifting is homosensual.
This is for powersliding.
Operative term being power.

swiftly followed by inoperative as a result of the sliding?
Maybe a play with spring rates would solve the under-steer, cheap enough to not bust the budget and you can always sell them on if it doesn't do the job

Not being in the car its hard to say but you probably need to be going faster around the bend and closer to the limit. You will probably find your just pushing the front wide under hard power because the rear has so much grip + your weight transfer has just gone to the rear. Tbh honest this is when more power is usful so you can "loosen" the rear end up a bit.
When both ends are on the limit you shouldnt find this to be a problem stu.

lol you need an lsd then.
Only way to do it in a n/a is lifting off on corner entry, bit of power mid corner and exiting sideways

Play in rear Wheel bearings
So you've found another let down with the japanese market (standard lights being the first)... Rear wheel bearings having play is common on a jap car where a slightly worn out bearing has been left to long, and often new bearings dont take up the play due to the materials they use in manufactoring the hubs/shafts. This is because the bearing casing being harder than the hub/shaft, and if it locks it wears everything but the bearing case (useful idea hey!). New bearings will take most if not all the play out tho Just something for the jap owners to watch out for (i should know... i've got to change the rear hubs on my gto due to the bearings spun, let alone how ever many cars i've done rear wheel bearings on and the play not been fully taken out).

I know on the Integra a lot of the guys on the forums recommend just building up new components with bearings & uprated bushes so you can swap them over without having to hack the old bushes out
