| TBH I have been massively impressed with my Yoko Parada Spec 2's. Seriously cheap tyre (£46 Each), Mine lasted well at 100mph on Gerrards at Mallory Park, still got good life in them!
Just not so good in grease/wet!

| I like toyo proxes t1rs thought they were great at castle coombe bit poor in the wet but tred was very poor. They are great in the wet up untill about 1mm tred lol. 195/50/15s are about £37 inc vat on camskill i beleive, thats where i get mine from. Everybody likes different things so it might be worth trying some yourself. Like stu said i have heard good things about parada spec 2's but never used them myself. | |

| Mine have done approaching 3000 miles on the road and an hour on track at Mallory, the inner edges are starting to scrub off (as do all my cars ) But an hour on track with me equates to most peoples full day, I had a T1R on the Meatsword and that was 6mm to wire in about 3 hours, but then i also ran them on one of my XSi, that did a full day at Brands, and Rockingham before they died...

| I only done 1 track session 3 15 mins on mine but done approx 7-8k road miles aswell so im guessing you would get 2-4 track sessions of pure abuse depending on how long the sessions are. | |

| I'll be needing to replace my track set and was looking forward to trying the parada's. Can't get them in my sizes though. Oh well ill stick with the nexans they may be plastic but they last ages when compared to my t1rs. | |

| I must admit t1r's dont last very long compared to nexens or kumho, im going to give paradas ago next time my car gets on the road i think & compare as different tyres have different results on different cars. How long track days or road miles do r888 & federal rsr's last does anyone know? | |

| Parada Spec IIs are pretty darned good, aren't very good at all in the wet, but amazing in the dry.
Thoroughly recommend them.
Only thing you might find is that the sidewall does flex quite a lot, it's not got the strongest sidewall, so the turn-in is a little numbed in comparison to more expensive tyres... Especially if you're comparing to R888s and A048s etc... But when you consider the price...

Kumho V70a's are becoming ever more popular on track day's. The performance of R888's but generally cheaper. Though there is no point shelling out for a more exotic tyre if it's only going to show your suspension up. Personally can't fault T1R's, hardly cost the earth and once you've scrubbed them down abit they have a really positive feel. They aren't as durable is i'd hope and can suffer sidewall flex but you're likely to get that with most fast road tyres. Parada spec 2's and even A539's are also cost effective and popular choice on a budget.

I agree its very car dependant. Proxies on the front of the mr2 last ages but on the track it melts the rears with heat. Obviously they are dealing with a lot of load on a mid-engined car and they seem to suffer from it. One of the bigger differences l notice is how easy the budgets lock up when compared to the proxies. Even more so than the noticeable difference when cornering. I'd never use budgets on the road!!
