been told the rev 1s are mechanical and rev2+ are electrical.

If it isnt right then i'll just sell it on. Clocks are uk ones but think i might leave mine in, like seeing the speedo go off the clocks lol.

The car has developed an idling issue, going to clean out the throttle this weekend and see if the solves it.

Because I dont have an extra £25 on top of that for postage. Bootlid was rev 1 0r 2 aswell, and not in brilliant condition.

Annoying thing is it was fine all the way home. only issue was starting it to leave llandow when it didnt want to fr about 5 seconds.

Now its being rubbish. Cutting out, slight knock and tap. Idling very low, 500rpm.

173bhp jamesy but you need the loom and ecu as well. Not worth it tbh.

If the engine is coming out it either has to be the same or a turbo imo.

But theres nothing wrong with an engine that's been stood. I sold a lambo engine that had been out of the car for 12 years when i was at the breakers

Thats what I might do, but with upgraded parts.

All depends what is wrong with this one. If it requires a rebuild then I need an engine to stick in it so I can still get to and from work etc

I am pretty sure its either going to be an expensive rebuild or engine swap job.

Waiting to hear back from him. Trying to sort getting it up there on friday and somehow getting buses or something home.

Hopefully he can see what needs doing and that is just needs a couple of bits swapped.....massively crossing everything!

If its not worth fixing then probably just get it home and fix it when i can and see about buying a decent car.
