Came across a thread on imoc by chance today. It would seem that the reach steering is only on the JDM rev1&2 cars. The car at the breakers was also an import so would make sence.

Car works again, pics to follow once I have eaten.

Pics of the radiator removal.

I broke some bolts I didnt need to undo, got annoyed at plastic and had the twin fan housing fall on my head.

First of remove stupid plastic!


Secondly some brakets to keep it stabalized


Then the rad was removed


Bits off and the new rad with white hoses ready to go back on


And how the car looked yesterday once I realised I didnt have any coolant


The pictures of the damage to the old rad and the pile of air con rad wont upload so will try tomorrow when I am more awake.

Probably getting toyos, need to sort it so I can get them fitted next week and run them in.

Dont want to be on the winter tyres for long if I can help it.

Doesnt sound as loud as i was expecting. Its not perfect and really needs a couple of tack welds on the reducer.
Also the guys in the garage couldnt drill the holes for the bung, so if I head to watch a mate on track after work tomorrow at combe then I'll ask them if they will sound test it.
If its too loud then i'll have to find a stronger drill bit.

Also as you have been waiting so long, excuse rubbish pics as I almost forgot again!, here is the induction kit.

I like the exhaust. You should bend the black metal grill up out the way so it doesnt look like you have one missing.

I am now wanting to go on track again, been at castle combe this afternoon, shame there werent any spaces left.

The noise tester had been put away but on of the guys said it sounded like it should pass the noise regs.

Back on the rubbish wheels tomorrow till new rubber arrives for the rears, everyone is loving the slicks though.

Pile of junk has decided the power steering isnt needed.

Its made my mind up, its being sold once I make the bumper look ok again.

Need to find something to replace it. Hopefully it earns me some of the cash back i have put into it.

The rad is surprisingly easy to do, as long as the car is about 6-8 inches off the ground you can drop the rad without doing too much.

Yes rad was done with everyrhing still in place. As stu said its easy enough. Only annoying bit is the pipes angling the right way.

Yes ad i checked it and even put some in to be safe.

I can't remember if it was yours or adams i thought had a loud pump, don't forget it's an electric pump, so you should be able to hear it in the frunk when you have the engine runnning.
